Decorative Concrete.

Stamped, coloured, polished, and exposed-aggregate concrete that mimics stone, brick, slate, or wood — at a fraction of the cost. Built for Canadian winters, sealed against salt and freeze-thaw.

Concrete that doesn't
look like concrete.

Stamped concrete is a popular choice for patios, driveways, walkways, and other outdoor areas because it offers a unique and customizable look that mimics the appearance of stone, brick, slate, or wood — at a fraction of the cost. Stamped concrete is highly resistant to wear and tear, weather, and UV rays, making it an excellent choice for outdoor areas in the GTA's freeze-thaw climate.

Pricing Guidance
From $18 / sqft

Installed pricing for stamped concrete starts at $18/sqft and runs to $32/sqft for complex patterns and integral colour. Site prep, demolition, and structural rebar are scoped separately.

The honest answer is: we can't quote without a site visit. Soil conditions, drainage, slope, access, and existing surfaces all change the number meaningfully. The AI Designer gets you a believable preview; the in-person walk-through gets you the real quote.

Process

From subgrade to seal —
seven stages.

01

Site assessment

We visit, measure, photograph, and review drainage and existing surfaces. No quote without a visit.

02

Demolition & removal

Existing concrete or asphalt removed, hauled, and disposed legally. Driveway aprons cut clean against the road.

03

Grading & compaction

Granular base laid to spec, mechanically compacted in lifts. The most-skipped step on cheap jobs — and why they fail.

04

Formwork & rebar

Premium formwork for crisp edges. Rebar or wire mesh per the engineering, tied with chairs for proper coverage.

05

Pour & stamp

Concrete pumped or chuted, screeded, floated, then stamped within the working window. Colour applied integral or surface-broadcast.

06

Cure

Wet cure or curing compound to control hydration. We don't let you walk on it for 48–72 hours, or drive on it for 7 days.

07

Seal

High-performance sealer against salt, ice, and UV. Re-seal every 2–3 years (we'll remind you).

FAQ

Decorative concrete
questions.

Will it crack?

All concrete cracks. The question is where, when, and how visibly. We use control joints to direct cracking into discreet locations, and we reinforce with rebar/mesh sized to the slab. Hairline cracking that follows joints is normal; structural cracking is a warranty claim and we fix it.

How does it hold up to road salt?

Stamped concrete sealed properly handles GTA winters. Re-sealing every 2–3 years is the maintenance, similar to natural stone. Without sealing, salt will pit the surface over 3–5 winters.

Is it slippery when wet?

It can be. We add anti-slip aggregate to the sealer for pool decks and walkways where this matters.

Can I match my existing concrete?

For a colour and texture match on a partial replacement, we'll do an on-site sample and fine-tune. New pours will always show as new for the first 6–12 months as colour weathers in.

How thick is your concrete?

Driveways: 4 inches minimum (5+ if you have heavy vehicles), reinforced. Patios: 4 inches. Walkways: 3.5–4 inches. We don't pour 3-inch driveways — they crack.

What's the lead time?

Typically 3–6 weeks from contract signing to start, depending on season. Spring books up first; we keep some availability in late summer.
